Our collaborative work continues as we prepare for the safe return of students and staff to our schools.┬áThe Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board and the Elementary Teachers` Federation of Ontario – Kawartha Pine Ridge Local are pleased to announce that they have ratified a new collective agreement for contract teachers effective September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2022. “We are very pleased to have an agreement with KPRDSB that fairly represents teachers and the Board of Directors,” said Shirley Bell, Teacher Local President. “We are grateful for our relationship with the Board of Directors, which has allowed us to negotiate fairly and respectfully with each other. Reaching an agreement means that together we can focus our energies on the safety of our educators and students, while planning for an unprecedented start to the year.┬áThe approximately 1400 teachers of the contractual primary education of the board of directors have been without a collective agreement since September 2019. .
